EUROPEAN TRADING DAY EVENT – 2019
"European Trade Day-2019" is aimed at expanding trade and economic cooperation between Mongolia and the European Union today at Tuushin hotel. The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. D. Davaasuren, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador of the EU to Mongolia, Tryan Kristea, President of Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. O. Amartuvshin.
Within the framework of the EU GSP Program, Mongolia can export 7200 products per year to the European market free of charge. However, organic beauty products, yam and brine wool, seabuckthorn oil and leather are on the market. For example, Mongolia exported $ 13 billion last year, of which 7 billion were exports. However, at the opening of the European Union's Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Department, Mr. Enkhbold pointed to the fact that it earned $ 100 million from the products of the EU market.
